- Clean mug thoroughly before and after each use
- To heat beverage in mug, remove lid and place mug in microwave
- Heat beverage first for 20 seconds and then in 10 second increments until desired temperature is reached
- Remove mug from microwave with care
- Using the lid will prevent you from gauging the temperature of the beverage
